Recent interviews with Manchester United legends Richards, Berbatov and Owen have sparked heated debate over the exclusion of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford from the Manchester City Derby entry list.

Richards empathized that Rashford has been at United since he was a young boy and carries global expectations, a pressure that would be a test for any young player. He believes that Rashford must learn to relieve the pressure in order to be at his best on the pitch.

Berbatov compared Rashford's situation to Manchester United boss Temhag's treatment of Crowe. He pointed out that while both players have suffered from being left out of the playing squad, there are significant differences in their ages and stages of their careers. Berbatov argued that the coach's decision-making may be based more on tactical needs and the player's performance in training, rather than purely on age or other factors.

Owen, on the other hand, emphasized that a player's performance is the central factor in determining whether he or she will play or not. He revealed that when assessing players, coaches will focus on their actual performance in training and matches rather than details such as personal habits. At the same time, Owen recognized the style of United's new coach Amorim, believing that he and United's famous manager Sir Alex Ferguson have something in common, and that they both attach importance to the team's tactical discipline and the individual performance of the players.
