The South Korean men's soccer team earned an explosive 5-0 sweep of Singapore in the first round of the 36-team World Qualifying Tournament on Nov. 16 in a lopsided 5-0 victory. After the match, Kim Min Jae spoke about his soccer colleagues in China during an interview with the media in the press mixing area.

When asked if the Chinese national team included any players from Beijing Guoan, Kim Min Jae revealed, "I am close to my teammates who play side by side and can provide you with detailed information. However, I do have more limited information about other players."

Minjae Kim joined Beijing Guoan in early 2019 and left at the end of the 2021 summer transfer window. Today, there are four players in the Beijing Guoan squad who have been selected for the Chinese national team, namely Zhang Yuning, Li Lei, Li Ke and Gao Tianyi. It is worth mentioning that Zhang Yuning, Li Lei and Li Ke are three players who have worked with Kim Min Ja in the same team.

In the upcoming match, China will take advantage of their home field to face South Korea in Shenzhen, and a fierce confrontation is about to take place.
