In the 2023 season of the Chinese Super League, problems have arisen, the net game time has plummeted to 50 minutes and 51 seconds, the most in the last five seasons, a phenomenon that reveals the quality of the league's hidden problems. The decline in goals scored per game by foreigners is a clear indication of the decline in the strength of the Chinese Super League's foreigners, which is perhaps just the tip of the iceberg of the league's internal data. Compared to other top leagues around the globe, the problems in the Chinese Super League appear to be even more prominent, with a worrying level of health, and even the music department's data puts us at the top of the list of negative statistics.

Recently, the Swiss Football Observatory, an authoritative organization, released a number of lists, including the stability of clubs in the world's top 48 leagues and the average age of leagues and clubs. The stability data reflects the average number of seasons played by a team's players, and Shanghai Port and Shandong Taishan ranked first and second respectively, with an average of 5.39 and 5.03 seasons played. Even so, this stability is not all positive, and it reflects the reality of the loss of domestic players. However, the real problem is not the stability, but the average age of the league and clubs in the list. The Chinese Super League tops the list of global leagues with an average age of 28.41 years, ahead of Saudi Arabia in second place, and no more than 28 years in third place. In comparison, only La Liga made it into the top 10 of the five major European leagues, while the others fell to 20th place. The fact that the Chinese Super League has become the oldest league in the world is not only worrying, it is a problem that needs to be solved. Without the injection of fresh blood, the league's level will continue to decline as the veterans age. What is even more disturbing is that there is only one player who has returned from studying abroad among the national football players, and the national football team's lineup relies heavily on Chinese Super League players, which reveals the problem of the aging of the national football team. The overall age of the Chinese Super League is not unrelated to the "contribution" of individual clubs. In the list of average age of clubs, the Chinese Super League clubs once again lead the world. Qingdao Hainiu topped the list with an average age of 31.48 years old, becoming the only team in the world's top 48 leagues with an average age of more than 30 years old. Chengdu Rongcheng are 10th with an average age of 29.80, while another Asian team, Ulsan Hyundai, are sixth with 29.60. The other teams are mainly from fringe European leagues and South American leagues. I did not expect our league and clubs to be the center of global attention in such a way. Whether it's stability or average age, it's not good for the Chinese Super League and clubs to lead the global list. If we don't address the aging issue in time, the league and the national team will face a lot of difficulties in their development, and future players may not be as strong as they are now, which in turn will lead to a continuous decline in the overall standard. We urgently need to focus on the development of young players.
