On August 25, reporter Tang Xing broke the news that Shandong Taishan team player Delgado is expected to transfer to the Central League powerhouse Kunshan.

Delgado's name does not appear on the Super League roster this season. It is reported that Delgado seems to have made up his mind to go out on loan after bidding farewell to his teammates. The 25-year-old attacker made 26 appearances during his time with Shandong Taishan, racking up nine goals and three assists.
