On November 21st at 6:00pm, the 2020 AFC Champions League East Asia Group e will host a highly anticipated matchup between Chinese Super League rivals Beijing Guoan and South Korean powerhouse Seoul FC. Beijing Guoan has already won the first round of the tournament and will be looking to continue their winning streak in the second round with a strong starting lineup that includes "6 foreign aiders".

The showdown will be broadcast live on CCTV Sports (CCTV5). The total value of both teams is up to 57.91 million euros (about 460 million yuan).

Chinese Super League teams that have participated in the AFC Champions League five times or more include Guangzhou Evergrande, Beijing Guoan, Shanghai SIPG and Shanghai Shenhua. Beijing Guoan's best record in the AFC Champions League is the round of 16, while Seoul FC reached the AFC Champions League final in 2013, but ultimately finished second to Guangzhou Evergrande in a two-legged match.

Beijing Guoan is no stranger to Seoul FC, as the two teams have met four times, in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. However, Beijing Guoan failed to win against this Korean powerhouse, including 0-0 and a draw in the 2013 season, and 1-1 and a draw and a 1-2 loss in the 2014 season, failing to win at home and losing 0-2 on the road. Overall, Beijing Guoan has fewer wins and more losses against Korean teams in the AFC Champions League.

For this expedition to Doha, Qatar, Beijing Guoan sent out their entire starting lineup, giving up their domestic AFC Cup matches. As Bakambu will participate in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, so absent from the AFC Champions League, by Fernando to replace its position, so that Beijing Guoan can still row Augusto, Bieira, Jin Minya, Fernando, Li Ke, Alan and so on "6 foreign aid" starting lineup.

In February, Beijing Guoan had already completed the first round of the group stage, defeating Chiang Rai United on the road. Now, facing Seoul FC, Beijing Guoan will not only try to win back-to-back matches, but also break the winless record against Seoul FC.

In terms of price comparison, Beijing Guoan has an absolute advantage, with a total price of 43.63 million euros (about 350 million yuan), while Seoul FC's price is only 14.28 million euros (about 110 million yuan). If you can't win with a clear price advantage, then Beijing Guoan's luxury lineup will face huge questions.
