In the early morning of May 3, reports from thoughtful Shanghai revealed a well-considered decision: the Shanghai Shenhua club, after much coordination and communication, is finally scheduled to depart on May 7, taking a special flight to Dalian for isolation observation.
Dalian and Meizhou are expected to be the main battlegrounds for the first phase of the new Chinese Super League season, so laying out this itinerary in advance seems to be a wise choice for Shenhua. After receiving strong support from the Chinese Football Association (CFA), the CFL preparatory team and the relevant authorities in Dalian, Shenhua was able to implement isolation measures in Dalian in preparation for the upcoming Chinese Super League.
In order to ensure absolute safety during the isolation period, Shenhua will strictly abide by the strict rules of closed-loop transit and minimize contact with the outside world. To this end, the club has specially applied for an exclusive direct flight from Shanghai to Dalian, and the team plans to take a chartered flight there on May 7th. It is worth mentioning that at the end of 2020, Shenhua and Seaport had joined hands to charter a flight to Doha, Qatar, to participate in the AFC Champions League, but this time the two teams will take different chartered flights to Dalian. Upon arrival in Dalian, Shenhua will continue their isolation in the training base of local team Dalian Ren.
