In a December 14th Beijing hour, Hebei Cangzhou Lions foreign aid Muric revealed in an interview with the Brazilian media that he had officially terminated his contract with the club and bid farewell to the Chinese Super League stage due to the prolonged separation from his family.

Brazilian media outlet GloboSport reports that Muric's family has been waiting for a full eight months to be reunited with him as the epidemic has made it difficult for expats to enter the country. They initially applied for a visa from Brazil and after a four-month wait, tried to apply from Dubai. Despite the long wait and complicated procedures, Muric's family has not been able to arrive in the country to meet him, a situation that eventually prompted Muric to make the decision to leave the Cangzhou Lions.

Muric said that returning to Brazil to be with his family is his current priority: "I'm going back to Brazil because my family can't enter my country. I have been alone in my country for eight months and now it is time to rethink everything. I have my little daughter, and my eight-year-old son, and my wife, and I miss them. All this becomes meaningless when all your endeavors have to be away from your family."

Talking about the future, Muric is still looking forward to returning to Brazil. He emphasized, "I'm still motivated and I want to keep playing. I am in excellent physical condition and fully capable of dealing with the competitive intensity of Brazil."
