On June 30, media source Li Xuan disclosed that a Chinese Super League (CSL) club was threatened to face penalties from the Chinese Football Association (CFA), namely a ban on registering new players, for failing to implement the decision of FIFA's Disciplinary Committee within the stipulated timeframe.

Li Xuan further revealed:

"It has just been learned that a club in the Chinese Super League may be banned from registering new players by the CFA Disciplinary Committee from June 30 for failing to implement the relevant ruling of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee on time."

"The club should now raise the required money as soon as possible, and once the money is in place, the FIFA ban is expected to be lifted, and with it the penalty imposed by the CFA."

"Let's hope it all works out, our league just can't afford this."
