Turkish media disclosed that our soccer giants Beijing Guoan's Brazilian star Fernando is on the verge of moving to Turkish Super League powerhouse Besiktas, while Guoan is also actively bringing in Argentinian shot-stopper Ramon Mijeres.

After a series of time-consuming negotiations with Fernando's agent, Besiktas have agreed a deal with the Brazilian star. However, the deal still needs the approval of Besiktas head coach Yalcin. Once Yalcin gives his nod, Fernando will be invited to Istanbul shortly and will sign a three-year contract with a salary of up to 1.6 million euros per year.

Intriguingly, not too long ago, rumors indicated that Chinese clubs had thrown the olive branch to Sergein Yalcin in the hope that the coach who had led his team to the Double Crown would join the Chinese Super League as a coach.

Croatian media further reported that Guoan boss Bilic strongly recommended the team to bring in Ramon Mijeres, a 24-year-old Argentine striker from Osijek. Mijeres contributed 22 goals to the team last season and was honored as the top scorer in the Croatian league. Because of this, Osijek purchased him on a free from Spain's Alaves for a record €2.5 million.

After taking ownership of Mijeres, Osijek made it clear that a transfer fee of at least €10 million would be required to release the Argentine striker. According to Croatian media, Guoan's offer is slightly less than this amount, but once the deal is finalized, 20% of the transfer fee will be returned to Alaves. In addition, if Mijeres transfer again in the future, Osijek will also get the corresponding proportion of the share. It is worth noting that Guoan is not the only club that has extended an olive branch to Mijeres, as the current attraction situation in the Chinese Super League is quite complicated.
