The meeting explained in detail the organization of the Chinese Super League this season. The new season of the Chinese Super League continues to adopt the grouping and division of the competition in stages, a total of 30 rounds of matches, divided into three phases, respectively, in Guangzhou and Suzhou two major regions to start. In the first phase of the grouping, Guangdong's Guangzhou Evergrande, Guangzhou R&F and Shenzhen Jiazhaoye are in Group A of Guangzhou, while Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Harbor and Shanghai Shenhua are in Group B of Suzhou.
In addition to the Guangdong trio, there are Shandong Taishan, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic, Henan Songshan Longmen, Qingdao and Cangzhou Lions in Group A. The eight teams in Group B are Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Seaport, Shanghai Shenhua, Hebei, Tianjin Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, Dalian People, Changchun Yatai and Wuhan.
The three phases of the tournament will be as follows: the first phase of the first five rounds will be played from April 20 to May 17, and rounds 6 to 14 will be played from June 21 to August 5, during which the National Football League's Top 40 tournament will be played; the second phase is from August 21 to September 29, which will be played in rounds 15 to 22; and the third phase is from October 24 to December 1, which will be played in rounds 23 to 30 .. Clubs have 3 opportunities to appeal
Last year, the Chinese Super League frequent refereeing storms, once let the league in trouble. At today's meeting, CFA President Chen Xuyuan emphasized the importance of the league's refereeing work, and the preparatory group for the operational league will also introduce a new mechanism for refereeing work in the new season, with each club having the right to file a cumulative total of three appeals against refereeing issues throughout the season.
Liu Jun, one of the heads of the preparatory group of the Operational Union responsible for the competition work, emphasized at the meeting that even if the content of the club's appeal is approved by the referee evaluation panel, the result of the match shall not be changed in accordance with the rules and spirit of the relevant penalties in the international football arena. If the result of the referee expert panel's evaluation of the relevant penalty is the same as the club's proposed viewpoint in the appeal, then the appeal will not be counted as one of the three chances, and if the appeal fails, then it will be counted as one appeal.
In addition, the refereeing department of the preparatory group for the operational leagues will publicize the refereeing information before each match at all levels of the leagues. The refereeing department will combine computer programs and human opinions to assign referees for each game.
