The legendary Mirko Vucinic, who sweated on the green field, is nearing his forties and still harbors his love for soccer. He has bounced around Lecce, Roma, Juventus and other giants, leaving behind countless wonderful moments. In the summer of 2007, Roma brought Vucinic from Lecce for 15.8 million euros, and in the summer of 2011, Juventus paid 15 million euros for the center of the midfield. In his three seasons at Juventus, Vucinic won three Serie A titles, 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, and became a mainstay of the team. However, Vucinic is outspoken about his regrets during his time with Roma. He believes that his peak at Roma was unfortunately met with Inter Milan's peak. Inter Milan won the Serie A title for five consecutive seasons between 2005-2006 and 2009-2010, while Roma followed in second place in 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2009-2010. In a recent interview, Vucinic lamented, "We faced an unstoppable Inter Milan, without whom Roma would have won at least a couple of league titles."

Time has passed and although Vucinic has left the pitch, his soccer career still brings back memories.
