After France's narrow 1-0 win over Ireland in the European qualifier on March 28, Rabiot, the heart of France's midfield, shared his journey in flashbacks.

"Ireland's defense was solid as a rock and their patience was awesome," Rabiot said bluntly. Until the end of the game, we gave it everything we had and luckily for us, Mynion stepped up to put the icing on the cake for the win."

He went on to elaborate, "Ireland have the ability to put any opponent in a difficult position and we managed to capitalize on good opportunities to score. Soccer is like that sometimes, we may not be happy with the course of the game, but if we are unlucky, victory may not be ours either."

Speaking about his individual performance this season, Rabiot is confident: "I've taken my soccer skills to the next level and my personal maturity is steadily increasing. This experience in Italy has made me a fish out of water on the pitch. Maybe the outside world's impression of me has changed, but I don't think I've changed radically."
