Arsenal is in full swing with 7 wins and 3 losses in their last 10 matches. However, the team paid a painful price in the match against Crystal Palace on Sunday. In the first half, core player Bukayo Shaka was unfortunately injured. After the match, he limped off the field, suspected to have suffered a serious injury. Head coach Adi Da expressed his concern.

Shaka was making frequent trips to and from the right end line, passing every 24 minutes during the game, but then suddenly pressed his right thigh and was unable to get up. After emergency treatment by military doctors, he left the game in dismay. The England international had to rely on crutches to leave the pitch, as seen in post-match CCTV footage. He himself is suspected to have suffered a thigh muscle strain and the recovery period may not be short.

Aditya revealed after the game, "Shaka doesn't think he has any major problems with his thigh, but it is very worrying that he is still unable to keep playing. I can't be sure of the severity of the injury but being substituted is certainly good news and I'll just have to wait for the inspection report now."

Originally the absence of Bukajo Shaka had put summer loanee Staanen in line to make his debut. But sadly, Adidas confirmed that Staanen was also injured in pre-match training. The team is now left with only two wingers available in Gabier Martinelli and Liandu Dushyat, and it is not yet known when they will be back.
