Manchester City midfielder superstar Lodi Kasjandi regretted to bid farewell to the field due to a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right knee, a sudden injury that made his career a huge challenge in the middle of the season. After a successful surgery, he is reportedly making good progress in his recovery and is expected to return at the end of the season to help his team to the world championship.

Lodikasjandi suffered a major injury after only two games this season. Had it not been for the accidental injury, he might have been able to win this year's Ballon d'Or. Man City's defense performance in the Spanish tournament was once excellent, but their performance in the league and Europa League has taken a sharp turn for the worse. In the face of this predicament, coach Gaudio seems to have not yet found a solution.

Lodikasjandi, 28, keeps only a treadmill at home for emergencies. Although the torn ligament is not an emergency, a late-season comeback is still seen as ideal. Given that a new world title will be up for grabs next June, he is expected to return then. As for City, the team will still need to be at full strength to try and fill the void left by Lodi Kasjandi during his absence.
