French star Paul Pouba is set to return to training with Manchester United at the age of 31 after bidding farewell to Zuyundas. It is reported that he will plan to return to Old Trafford in January next year. At that time, he will be under the personal guidance of current manager Ruben Emolian. Former United legend Sascha has gone on record as saying that the potential pros and cons of United re-signing Puba are worth pondering.

Puba, who had been banned for four years for a drug ban, had his sentence shortened following a successful appeal, and on Nov. 30, his contract with Zuyundas was terminated and he regained his free agency. But the ban will be lifted on March 1 next year. Even so, Sachs believes that Puba's career was not interrupted during his suspension for family reasons, which will make him more competitive when he returns.

Shasha's comments immediately sparked heated debate. He even said that Manchester United re-signing Puba has both pros and cons, and said: "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Puba is a very special player. At present, United's midfield strength is lacking, if Puba can restore the former state, he will be perfect to fill this vacancy in the team."

Despite Puba joining as a free agent, his appeal remains undiminished. Shasha revealed that Puba shouldn't be lionized in terms of salary, after all, he hasn't been involved in the game for a while.

It's worth noting that Manchester United have never attempted to turn a temporary worker into a permanent one in their history. With Jonny Evans as an example, United's signing of Puba this time may break this tradition and open up a new transfer strategy.
