Since Manchester United's new manager, Emmanuel Amorim, took over, the team's performance has been steadily improving and the list of injured players has been gradually shortened. Just when he thought the team would be in full swing, Lauchie Combes was unlucky to suffer another injury after his comeback and is expected to be out of action for a few weeks. The England international expressed his frustration in a statement.

In the open letter, Rauki Suhr wrote: "Every injury is a heavy blow, and writing this text fills my heart with pain. I thought I was out of the woods, but I didn't realize that the injuries had brought me new challenges. These days are the toughest times for me, and I'm overwhelmed with frustration and difficulty accepting reality. I know the fans feel frustrated, angry and disappointed as well, but perhaps no one can relate to these emotions more deeply than I can. I promise that I will recover as quickly as possible to help United reach their goals."

The 29-year-old Lauchicher has finally made his comeback after four months of niggling leg injuries, but has then been substituted early in each of his last three games. However, this time around, his old injury has returned and he will reportedly be sidelined again for several weeks. The injury worsened at the end of last season when Lauchiquemuir chose to represent England in the European final week despite having begun his rehab, which sparked a lot of discontent among United fans.
