In the early hours of Thursday morning, Chelsea beat Southampton 5-1 away from home in the English Premier League. Although there is still a 7-point gap between Chelsea and league leader Liverpool, their excellent performance in this match has once again demonstrated their strength in the title race. In the match, the "explosive head" Azhar even became the strange hero of the victory by being dragged by the opponent's hair and dyed red.

Despite Chelsea's massive personnel rotation this campaign, their fighting spirit was not weakened. Aspilicueta scored a header in the seventh minute, and although Siouxsons equalized four minutes later, Nicolas and Marduk then scored consecutively to seal a 3-1 lead for Chelsea.

Southampton put in a good performance, but in the 39th minute, Jack Stephens' slip pulled Azar's long hair, resulting in the latter being shown a red card. In the second half, Golpenma and Chaton Sinzu came on as substitutes and helped the team to a 5-1 win.

After the match, Chelsea's leader Maliska said, "This game was a great satisfaction for us. To see the fans rejoice and especially to see them happy because of the return of the players is the most important thing for me. If the players can keep training every day, they can make the fans happy."
