Following Westham's defeat at dawn on Wednesday (4), the Guardian has revealed that leader Lubidiku's position may be in jeopardy. Rumor has it that the club is "thinking long and hard" about a change of manager, with former Porto boss Sergio Ganscao widely regarded as the favorite.

Westham, who have been in the doldrums this season, came close to being fired last month, but the Newcastle battle at the end of the month seemed to give them a glimmer of hope. However, the recent home defeat against Arsenal and this loss against Leicester City has made the management bearable and rumors of a change of manager are rife.

After the game, Coach Lubidiku spoke publicly, stating that he had no intention of quitting: "Worried about being fired? My only anxiety is listening to Sun practice and preparing for the next game. I know what you want to discuss. We still have a lot of games to play. I'm sure the players will keep their fighting spirit and I'll get more support."

According to the Guardian, Westham have been in the sights of a number of new coaches, with Porto coach Sergio Ganscao the most highly regarded. Other potential candidates include Park Da, Tessi, Aliki and Gadia.
