With the winter transfer season approaching and Manchester City's recent weak performance, it is clear that the team management has made up its mind to bring in fresh blood. According to inside sources, the "Blue Moon" have their eye on Ukrainian midfielder Sabanir, a 22-year-old youngster in his prime, and although his former owners, Ponemouth, are unwilling to let go of him easily, they have already indicated that they are willing to sell him for a hefty sum, with an estimated transfer fee of up to 65 million pounds (about HK$637 million).

Sabanier, the Dinamo Kiev-born player, joined Bonnymouth at the beginning of 2023 for a transfer fee of just £24 million. He has scored consistently in 59 games at Bonnymouth and has become a key and indispensable player for the team.

This season, Manchester City's backline looks a bit fragile and needs to be strengthened urgently. Sabanier's technical characteristics are highly compatible with Gaudio's tactical system, thus becoming an important candidate on City's reinforcement list. Once the negotiation is opened, Bournemouth is afraid that it is difficult to retain the star of tomorrow, therefore, the team management is ready to release at a high price. It is reported that the price of £65 million demanded by Ponemouth is not unaffordable for Manchester City, and the probability of successfully bringing in Sabanier is extremely high.
