Arsenal have been in the doldrums recently, however, shocking news broke on Monday (4) that the club's legendary coach Ido is facing a big decision. The former Brazilian soccer superstar is expected to move to Nottingham Forest, the English Premier League's top team. The Forest club is not only willing to offer three times the salary, but also promises to take care of everything, which is undoubtedly a heavy bomb in the soccer world.

Nottingham Forest's owner, Greek tycoon Marienakis, already owns a number of top-flight teams, including Nottingham Forest, Greece's Olympiakos, and Rio Ave of the Portuguese Superliga. Rumor has it that Malienakis is plotting to buy a fourth club, and he has high hopes that Ido will join him as CEO of his empire, and he has gone to great lengths to do so. Ido is naturally excited about the idea.

After Arsenal officially announced Ido's resignation, the 46-year-old soccer guru was overwhelmed with emotion: "The decision to resign was exceptionally difficult for me. I have had the privilege of working with many outstanding people and I am grateful for the support of the management and especially for the friendship of Adidas. We became good friends. I thought it was time for me to seek a new challenge with the support of my family. Arsenal will always be part of my heart."
