Recently, Ferenbages head coach Molenu suffered an untimely injury during an intense training session. He was accidentally kicked by a player during a practice session and fell to the ground in agony. Fortunately, there were no major injuries, but Molenu still needed the assistance of a medic to leave the field. The 61-year-old Portuguese star uploaded the scene to social media platforms, humorously reminding his fellow coaches to avoid wearing the same color as the players in case of accidents.
At the time, the team was divided into two teams for passing and tackling drills. Molenu was wearing a dark-colored shirt and directing from the sidelines, when an "opponent" player wearing a similar undershirt accidentally fell down from behind during the chase. Molenu was unable to get up on his own, but was assisted by the players and a medic, making the situation slightly awkward.
Afterward, Molenu teased himself, "This lesson is important, but the lesson is profound. Young coaches, don't learn from me to dress like the players, or in the event of a collision, either a pass is missed or someone accidentally 'kicks' the ball."
