The night was low and City welcomed Southampton to their own home ground on Saturday 26th at 10pm. Ainin Xalant scored a blistering goal just 5 minutes into the match to help his team seal the 3 points with a 1-0 win. At this point, Liverpool were temporarily leading the table before taking on Arsenal, and Charlandt's excellent performance after the UEFA Cup has put him in the spotlight once again.

Known as the "Kung Fu Kick", Chalainte broke his three-match goal drought in the Premier League with a clever use of the "Frog Kick" technique in the match. As City attacked in the "Blue Moon", Charlantes became a weapon on the front line, teasing Phil Cotton with his speed and skill, while Mafiosi Nunes and Xavier closely defended on both flanks.

Just five minutes into the match, Mafiosiunis created a mess on the left side and Charlantes, who was jostling for position with Rick, lost his balance and fell to the ground in a peculiar position. However, he didn't give up and used the moment to put the ball into the net with his "frog's foot" to give City a 1-0 lead.

Since September 22 against Arsenal, Xalanthe has failed to break through in all three of his Premier League matches - Newcastle and Fulham's Wolves. However, in this match, he finally got his long overdue goal. In his last seven games, he has scored a total of one goal. He is the first player to reach 11 goals in the Premier League since November 2017 when Aguru did so.

Despite City taking the lead for a while after Xalante's goal, the game did not end there. Just before half-time, Gammaroun Archie almost equalized, but his shot hit the crossbar. City weren't perfect, but ultimately avoided the embarrassment of losing points with a narrow victory.
