In the English Premier League, the battle for the Golden Boot has been a long time coming. Aynin Shirant's stunning 10-goal performance in five rounds initially made people think that the Golden Boot had already fallen into their pockets. However, Manchester City's slide down the table has caused Shirant to suffer a scoring drought, and although he still has a total of 13 goals, he has fallen two goals behind Mohamed Sana, and dropped to second place in the rankings. In terms of momentum, he seems to have lost out to the top scorers.

Xalanta is in a slump, while Sana has shown consistent output in Japan. He has scored over 22 goals in the Premier League in each of the last seven seasons. The Egyptian striker doesn't appear to be repeating Watt's mistakes, and odds of 1.58x don't seem too high for the marksman.

In terms of cold picks, Chelsea's twin duo are worth keeping an eye on. Gael Penma and Nicolas Jackson have 11 and 9 goals respectively. Penma is aiming for four goals in a single game this season, while Jackson, as Chelsea's chief striker, has been in hot form over the past year, with an ever-increasing grasp of goal scoring. Chelsea's double is a strong guarantee of goals, and Penmar is especially attractive at 11 times the price.
