Recently, Manchester City's stumble has become a hot topic of discussion in the soccer world, and their defeat against Aston Villa in the last round was not unexpected in my opinion.

Looking back over the last 12 games, City have won just one game and only one of the eight matches in the Premier League. That's more losses this season than in any of the last four seasons. Hopes of a fifth consecutive league title seem to have gone with the wind, as the 12-point gap with Liverpool has become unbridgeable.

Among City's many woes, the change in the goalkeeping position has been particularly notable. Addamson was in the spotlight during the summer transfer rumors, but the team's secrecy about his injury information has sparked widespread concern as it is clear that his position in the team has faltered. Frequent injuries to key defenders such as Rubin Dyas and Stones, coupled with Addason's problems, have added to the woes of City's backline and further damaged their stability. City have conceded 23 goals so far this season, compared to 34, 33, 26 and 32 conceded in full seasons in the last four championship seasons.

On the flip side, Ewarton is preparing for this game in excellent shape, despite all the skepticism out there.

In their last 12 Premier League matches, Ewarton have lost just two, in which they managed to pick up crucial six-point victories, such as against Wolves, Yeşilılışırmak and Leicester City.

The story of this team from Marseilles County is full of drama. Defensive solidity is their strength and not conceding goals is not a problem for them. The quality of their defense is the highest in the Premier League and the fourth in the top five leagues in Europe. Obviously, the leader Dyche has built his team on a solid defensive foundation, which has helped them climb up to the 15th place in the league.

However, their offense is severely lacking, with six of their last seven league games going scoreless. They are currently ranked second to last in the Premier League in terms of goals scored, with only three more than the lowest scorer, Southampton. Luckily, they have been able to cover up their lack of offense with a solid defense, but once there is a hole in the defense, the goal scoring problem will become more and more obvious.

City are undefeated in their last 16 games against Ewarton, with 14 wins and 2 draws. However, I think the reference value of these results is greatly reduced given City's current low form. Despite City's many holes in defense, EWT faces a much bigger challenge on offense. I think this could be the key to City's turnaround. As the famous soccer saying goes, goals can win you games. I predict Man City will beat EWT with their better offense.
