French star Paul Pouba is set to return to Manchester United at the age of 31 after bidding farewell to Zuyundas. It is reported that he will be expected to return to Old Trafford in January next year. At that time, he will be under the full guidance of current manager Ruben Emolian. In response, former United legend Sascha said the potential pros and cons of bringing Puba back to the club need to be carefully considered.

Puba, who had been handed a four-year ban for a drug ban that was reduced on appeal, regained his freedom on Nov. 30 when he ended his contract with Zuyundas. However, the ban will end on March 1 next year. Nonetheless, Sascha emphasized that Puba, even if he returns, will not be part of the adult team right away. It is rumored that Puba will return to United for a recovery session in January next year, which will be handled by Coach Emolian himself.

Sascha's comments quickly generated a lot of buzz, with the media following up on the story. Shasha further elaborated that United's re-signing of Puba would not only do more good than harm, saying, "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Puba is an extraordinary player. Currently, United is lacking in midfield strength, and if Puba can find his way back to form, he will undoubtedly fill a big gap in the team."

The signing of Puba by Manchester United is still attractive for the free agent. Sascha believes that Puba will not be too demanding in terms of salary, after all, it has been a while since he has shown his strength on the field.

Manchester United had made the transition from temporary to permanent never attempted. With the example of Jonny Evans, it is evident that United could face multiple challenges in signing Puba.
