Following Westham's defeat at the hands of Lister City, the Guardian revealed in the early hours of Wednesday morning (4) that the fate of the team's leader, Lubidiku, is in jeopardy, with rumors suggesting that he is about to be "decisively" dismissed. Former Porto coach Sergio Ganscao is said to be a potential successor to the Hammers.

Westham have been in the doldrums this season and were almost on the verge of being dropped last month. But fortunately, a win against Newcastle at the end of the month renewed the team's life. However, last week's home defeat against Arsenal and the loss of this campaign have finally made the management unable to stand it anymore, and rumors of a change of manager are rife.

Lubidiku released a statement after the game saying that he had no intention of resigning: 'Am I worried about being fired? The only thing I'm hung up on is how to listen to the sun and get ready for the upcoming games. I know you want to talk about it. There are a lot of games coming up. I'm sure the players will stay positive and I will earn more respect."

According to The Guardian, Westham have set their sights on a new coaching candidate, with Sergio Ganscao in the spotlight for his brilliant track record with Porto. Other candidates on the shortlist are well-known coaches such as Park Da, Tessi, Aliki and Gadia.
