Liverpool are firmly at the top of the Premier League table and despite losing points in a draw with Newcastle, a turnaround is on the horizon. New signing Federico Giovanni Aizza made a swift return to the Liverpool U21 squad after a two-month injury layoff, injecting new life into the team and becoming a potential hitman on the road to the title.

The transfer from Juventus was unlucky to be injured after just three games since joining the club and was injured again in today's game. Kięsa made his first appearance on the new system since the EFL Cup tie against Westham at the end of September, when Liverpool U21s battled it out at Los Chalantes U21s. He showed great form in just 11 minutes, only to be substituted after 61 minutes, as Liverpool U21s were defeated 3-4.

Although the 27-year-old Kięsa has been plagued by injuries in recent years, the four-year deal he signed with Liverpool gives him plenty of time to prove himself. He is capable of playing in a number of positions up front, and as long as he stays fit, he will be a standout player for the Schlosser leaders.
