Torino Sport has broken the news that Serie A giants Juventus are plotting a staggering deal to swap Brazilian midfielder Douglas Reus for English Premier League striker Joshua Shukes. Despite both joining the club this summer, they have failed to establish themselves with their new owners and now they seem to have found a new way out.

Zuyuntas have long favored Dutch striker Joshua Schukes, while new Manchester United manager Ruben Emolian sees the old Bologna man as a third striker option. However, Zuji may struggle to afford Shukes' hefty price tag in the transfer market, and have therefore offered Douglas Reus in exchange. The 26-year-old Brazilian, who previously joined Aston Villa for a £42.3 million transfer fee, has made just two appearances this season after coach Moda questioned his fitness and training attitude.

However, Douglas Reyes has excelled in the past five seasons and is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League. His excellent defensive skills and great ability to organize attacks fit perfectly with Emolian's 3-4-3 tactics and is expected to be the ideal successor to veteran Kasmiru.
