Last summer, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) signed Eintracht Frankfurt striker Giorgio Mianni for a whopping €80 million (about HK$650 million). But the 25-year-old French international does not seem to have matched his price tag. Rumors suggest that PSG plan to dispose of him at half price when the winter transfer window opens next January. And Manchester United have been revealed to be interested in taking over the deal.

Goloumiani made 46 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2022/23 season, scoring 23 goals and contributing 14 assists, before moving to PSG for an inflated fee, but his form hasn't seemed to improve since arriving at his new club. Last season, he only made 40 appearances, goals and assists were 9 and 6. This season, he was reduced to the bench, only two appearances in 12 matches, was jokingly called by the fans of the Ligue 1 history of the most expensive "water goods". Therefore, PSG intends to "stop the loss", and Golou Mei Ani is also willing to 40 million euros price reduction.

Manchester United are reportedly planning to release striker Joshua Shukes in January next year and are looking to bring in new goalscorers to bolster their forward line. French internationals Meany and Nicholson have become United's acquisition targets. However, as Lusi does not want Nygancourt to join other Premier League teams, United's hope of bringing in Nygancourt has become slim, which undoubtedly makes the possibility of Goloux Mayeni joining United greatly increased.
