The 18th round of the English Premier League was in full swing, Nottingham Forest hosted Tottenham Hotspur. In the first half, Manchester United's former general led the scoring, and in the second half, the two sides exchanged goals, but Tottenham Hotspur's player Spence left the field early due to two yellows turned into red. Nottingham Forest ended Tottenham Hotspur's losing streak with a narrow 1-0 victory.

The drums of war were beating and Tottenham Hotspur were the first to take the lead, with Son failing to break through with a clever finish in the box. Nottingham Forest took the lead when Gibbs-White sent in a precise straight shot and Ilanga scored a brace to give Nottingham Forest the lead!

Tottenham Hotspur woke up to a tidal wave of corner kicks, and although Brennan showed off his individual skills, the Nottingham Forest defense was like a brick wall. Towards the end of the game, Nottingham Forest nearly increased their lead when Awoniyi's shot scraped the net.

Spurs were a man short in injury time as Spence was sent off for yellow card accumulation. Nottingham Forest were the underdogs, but the defense was rock solid and sealed the win.

As the referee blew the final whistle, Nottingham Forest earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory to give the season a shot in the arm.
