In the 49th minute, Jones scored with an assist from McAllister, and after VAR confirmed that the goal was valid, Liverpool overtook 2-1. Leading Liverpool did not stop attacking, in the 83rd minute, Gakpo's long pass accurately found Salah, the latter low shot to break the goal, making the score 3-1.
In the end, Liverpool managed to pull off a 3-1 comeback win over Leicester City thanks to goals from Gakpo, Jones and Salah, with the whole team in high spirits.
