Liverpool hosted Leicester City in a marquee matchup in the 18th round of the Premier League. In the first half, Leicester City's Jordan Ayew scored the first goal, but Liverpool quickly equalized with Gakpo's quick counterattack. In the second half, Liverpool completed the turnaround with goals from Jones and Salah to win 3-1 and take all three points.

Leicester City started the game with a quick attack. In only the 8th minute, Mavididi's pinpoint cross found Jordan Ayew, who fired home a low shot to give Leicester City a 1-0 lead. However, Liverpool were not discouraged, and in the opening minutes of the second half, McAllister's direct kick helped Gakpo equalize in stoppage time to make it 1-1.

In the second half, Liverpool's offense became more and more ferocious. In the 49th minute, Jones scored with an assist from McAllister, and after VAR confirmed that the goal was valid, Liverpool overtook 2-1. Leading Liverpool did not stop attacking, in the 83rd minute, Gakpo's long pass accurately found Salah, the latter low shot to break the goal, making the score 3-1.

In the end, Liverpool managed to pull off a 3-1 comeback win over Leicester City thanks to goals from Gakpo, Jones and Salah, with the whole team in high spirits.
