In the 18th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea welcomed Fulham at Stamford Bridge. In the first half of the match, Chelsea took the lead with Palmer's precise shot; however, the second half saw a change of scenery, with Colville's goal ruled out for offside, Wilson's crucial goal after coming on as a substitute to help Fulham equalize, and Muniz's fatal strike in stoppage time, which ultimately led to Fulham defeating Chelsea with a 2-1 victory, ending Chelsea's unbeaten streak of 12 matches in various tournaments and 9 rounds of unbeaten streak in league matches.
Soon after the match started, Chelsea showed a strong desire to win. In the 16th minute, Palmer skillfully used a hidden shot technique from the edge of the penalty area to send the ball into the lower left corner of the goal, which not only broke the Blues player's Premier League scoring record, but also gave the team a fantastic start to the game.
