In a recent edition of his Daily Briefing column, Italian soccer journalist Romano has given an insight into the rumored transfer of Crystal Palace star Gueye. He reveals that Gueye's stunning performances during the European Championships have made many of Europe's giants start to move for him.
According to Romano, top teams such as Liverpool and Newcastle have been in contact with Gueye and his team during the summer window this year, however, to this day, the transfer rumors are still just a cloud. Romano also made it clear that he is not Gueye's spokesman, so he can't give a definitive answer on the player's future intentions.
Speaking about Gueye's attitude at the moment, Romano was outspoken about the fact that Gueye will be fully committed to the Crystal Palace battle this season. Although the road ahead is full of variables, Romano firmly believes that Gueye is not in a hurry to leave at the moment, which means that the rumors about Liverpool and Newcastle are still inconclusive.
