In his January 11 news focus, Di Marzio revealed that Napoli's Georgian-born striker Kvaratskhelya (nicknamed K77) could bid farewell to the team as soon as this month. Meanwhile, Ligue 1 rivals Paris Saint-Germain have thrown in an olive branch for between €70 and €75 million.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning to hold in-depth talks with Napoli with a view to facilitating the transfer of Kvaratskhelya. The deal is expected to be finalized next week as the two sides have reached a verbal agreement on the basic terms. Apparently, Paris Saint-Germain are eager to improve their forward line by bringing in the Georgian international.

In addition to paying the transfer fee directly, Paris Saint-Germain has also put forward a proposal to bring in Inter Milan center back Shkriniar as part of the deal. However, this proposal requires Napoli to bear all of Shkriniar's loan fee and salary, making the total amount of the deal may soar to 80 million euros.

For Napoli, the departure of Kvaratskhelya is undoubtedly a big blow. To make up for this loss, they have started searching around for possible replacements. Porto's Galeano and Roma midfielder Pellegrini have become their main targets.

In addition, Napoli has also expressed interest in Chiesa, who may leave from Liverpool, as well as another star of Lille, Gerogloba. However, Lille has made it clear that it does not intend to sell Gerogloba, which adds a lot of uncertainty to Napoli's reinforcement program.
