On the January 4 episode of Sky Sports, Liverpool legend Carragher launched a brainstorming session on the future of the England national team's center-forward berth and boldly predicted that Jamie Delap is expected to be Harry Kane's right-hand man.

Carragher spoke highly of Kane's status: "Kane deserves to be the leader in England's forward line. He has an impressive record of goals and assists and is the pillar of the team's offense. Watkins is an outstanding striker in the Premier League, but compared to Kane, there still seems to be a distance."

However, Carragher is also keenly aware of the fact that Kane's career is entering a critical point, triggering thoughts about the future of England's center-forward: "As Kane enters a new phase of his career, we may begin to explore whether he should still occupy the core of the England team. After all, every player has his ups and downs in his career, and England desperately need to lay out a plan for the future."

When discussing potential successors, Carragher looks to Draper: "Draper is like a bison on the field, making people defenseless. His tough style of play causes a lot of problems for the opposition. Although we still need to see whether he can reach the level of England's strikers, he is undoubtedly a diamond in the rough."

Carragher firmly believes that although Draper has yet to reach the heights of Kane and Watkins, his potential and strength should not be underestimated: "Draper has shown the potential to be a great center forward in terms of physicality and confrontation. As long as he can continue to improve his technical and tactical level, it is not out of reach for him to become an important striker for England in the future."
