The transfer market is in flux again, with Premier League Chelsea in intense talks with Serie A Torino over the transfer of Italian midfield star Cesare Casadei, according to transfer expert Di Marzio.

The 21-year-old midfield talent moved to Chelsea from Inter Milan in the summer window of 2022 for a fee of €14.9 million, however, his performances have not lived up to expectations since joining the Blues. Kasaddei has had loan spells at Reading and Leicester City, but his appearances for Chelsea have been limited to just six so far this season, with no Premier League appearances to his name.

Faced with Kasadayi's situation, Chelsea seems to be interested in selling him, while Torino jumped at the chance. It is reported that Chelsea's bid for Kasadayi is 20 million euros and wants to retain the right of repurchase. Torino, on the other hand, have offered 12 million euros plus a share of the transfer to bring in the young talent.

Despite the differences between the two sides over the transfer fee and the right of repurchase, Di Marzio expects Chelsea and Torino to restart talks next Tuesday-Wednesday in a bid to reach a consensus.

For Chelsea, the sale of Kasadayi may help the team to recoup money and make room for lineup adjustments. For Torino, the introduction of Kasadayi is expected to improve the team's midfield strength and bring vitality to future matches.

However, whether or not this deal will finally come to fruition depends on whether or not the two sides can come to an agreement in the upcoming negotiations. Fans will also be waiting to see a win-win solution.
