In the 20th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea's match against Crystal Palace ended in a 1-1 draw. After the match, Chelsea's manager Maresca gave a comprehensive and insightful analysis of the match in his interview of the day.

"Regrettable, really regrettable." Maresca began by revealing a hint of helplessness at the result, "We actually should have won. The chances, we had a lot of them, but the charm of soccer is that even if there are more chances, it may not be enough to secure the victory. Against such an opponent, it is vital to capitalize on your chances. Unfortunately, we were right in the lead and allowed the other team to equalize."

Then Maresca gave an in-depth analysis of his team's performance: "Possession of the ball was in our hands, but we failed to make timely adjustments after losing it, allowing our opponents to score on quick counter-attacks. If we had capitalized on those flashes of opportunity to make it 2-0, the game could have been over a long time ago. In fact, we did have three or four chances that could have decided the game, but just as we went 1-0 up, the opposition gradually found their confidence and we paid the price for not being able to capitalize on our chances."

Despite the disappointing result, Maresca spoke highly of certain players in his team, "Josh ACHAMPON means a lot to us. We have a lot of trust in him and he just needs to find his rhythm in the game. I'm sure he will become an integral part of the club as the game progresses."

Finally, Maresca looked ahead to the team's future journey, "After failing to win three or four games in a row, it was expected that other teams would catch up. We've drawn two and lost two of our last four games, and the gap to the top four has indeed narrowed. However, the road to the league is long and we still have 18 games to play. We will persevere and try to create good results in the upcoming matches."
