In the 20th round of the Premier League, Manchester City turned back West Ham United 4-1 at home. After the match, Coach Pep Guardiola spoke on the Match of the Day program about the match.

Faced with a reporter's question about whether the team is back on top, Guardiola responded frankly: "Not yet. Although the victory was pleasing, we still have a lot of shortcomings. Today's victory is good for us, after all, we look quite hard in the game. However, the win is definitely a relief and gives us a moment of respite."

Speaking about Savinho's impressive performance, Guardiola was full of praise: "He's been impeccable and is a bright spot amongst the team's new recruits. Savinho has shown talent and his professionalism is admirable. Although he was occasionally a little impatient, we adjusted the tempo of the game and he adapted quickly to the change. Two wins in a row were vital for us, unbeaten in the last three, and although a month and a half of poor performances made it quite tough, overall this is a fair result."

Speaking about his team's shooting efficiency, Guardiola said: "It's true that we had a lot of luck today and scored shortly after the start. In fact, West Ham United were much better in the early stages and we were 0-1 or 0-2 down at one point. The second goal was crucial for us and it was a stunner. Despite our victory, the fluidity of our attack is yet to return to its previous level."
