In the 20th round of the Premier League, Chelsea played Crystal Palace to a 1-1 draw. After the match, Blues newcomer Sancho shared his personal insights on the match in today's match talk program.
Sancho first showed a hint of helplessness: "It's really uncomfortable to not be able to bring home the three points. The charm of soccer is that every mistake can lead to a very different ending. The frustration is especially strong when you lose at the last minute. We could have had the win in the bag, but it didn't go our way and it didn't go our way."
Even after a rough patch, Sancho remains optimistic about his growth at Chelsea: "I'm overjoyed to be able to improve my game here. From the moment I stepped into Chelsea, I felt at home. The staff and teammates have been very friendly and I've settled in very quickly. Next, I need to give my best in the games and bring more goals and assists to the team."
Talking about the future, Sancho was firm: "The journey of this season has just begun, and even though today's game made me upset, we can't let it stop us from moving forward. We will keep the momentum going, learn from our mistakes, and strive for better performances in subsequent matches. I believe that if we are united and work together, we will be able to create a good result."
