Barcelona have had a blistering season, beating Red Star Belgrade 5-2 in a UEFA Europa League match in the early hours of Thursday morning (7) to make it three wins in a row and leapfrog to sixth place in the table. In 16 matches this season, Barcelona scored 55 goals, a new record in the club's history, eclipsing the 54 goals scored in the 50/51 season, a staggeringly powerful attack.

Barcelona's offense was like a flowing river, Eniguo Martinez broke through with a header in only 13 minutes of the opening half. Although Red Star equalized the score after 27 minutes, Robert Levendowski's shot before half-time gave Barcelona the lead once again. In the second half, Barcelona made further progress, with Robert Chai, Rafin Chabiloni and Fermin Lubis scoring, and even though Red Star scored a number of goals late in the game, Barcelona still locked up a 2-5 win.

Robert scored 5 goals in the last 3 Europa League matches, bringing his career total to 99 goals. After the game, coach Alexei apologized for his decision to replace Robert in the 78th minute: I didn't know that he still had energy left in him, so I made the substitution. Maybe it would have been better to let him finish his 100th UEFA goal at home? To be honest, my consideration at the time was just to keep the players at their best and therefore had to be cautious in the league.
