In Saturday's Barclays Premier League match, a game between Fulmines and Gamboa made unexpected waves. In the marquee match, a former Real Madrid legend, Marcelo, openly disobeyed the tactical arrangements of Fulmines coach Vinho Vinhos at home, a scene that left the spectators stunned.

The match reached the 90th minute with Fuminis leading 2-1. Faced with a possible strengthening of the defense, Coach Moon passed tactics to Maru on the sideline, but the Brazilian superstar chose to decline. Shortly after, Coach Moon adjusted his substitution strategy while Maru was asked to return to the bench.

However, as the game went into extra time, the score was finally set at 2-2, and Maru became a target on the field, even though he was a famous player. The club's management reacted quickly, announcing that they had terminated Maru's contract.

Marcelo, a talent developed at the Fulmines youth academy, won numerous honors after moving to Real Madrid in 2007. However, after leaving Real Madrid in the summer of 2022, his career had hit a low point. Despite later joining Greek side Olympiagos, his contract only lasted for half a season.

Last February, Marleau returned to Fulminis and helped the team win the Liberty title. But now, with his contract coming to an end, the team seems uncertain about the veteran's future.
