In an uneventful La Liga showdown, Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Las Palmas in the early hours of Friday morning (30th), losing points for the first time in three consecutive league matches. Kilian McBarbee was once again a "dud", taking nine shots on goal, with his first La Liga goal seemingly out of reach.

Real Madrid suffered an "uninteresting predicament" soon after the match started. Morillo opened the scoring for the hosts in just five minutes, but Real Madrid didn't let that discourage them. In the 69th minute, Vinicius Zulia equalized with a 12-yarder, but the offense didn't last after that. In the end, the two sides shook hands.

McBarbie was involved all over the pitch, with five of his nine shots being deflected by defenders and only two hitting the target. Since landing in La Liga, he has been left with no goals and zero assists in three league games, and seems to have yet to fully adapt to the pace of La Liga.

After the match, Real Madrid coach Angelo Anzilotti commented, "I'm trying to get back the consistency I had last season, which is a lot more daunting than I thought it would be. Nevertheless, the problems we had were obvious. My tactical arrangements need to be understood more clearly by the players and adjusted as soon as possible."
