After all the ups and downs, midfielder superstar Ganaga has finally joined La Liga giants Sporting Madrid, and his 24-year-old English figure has instantly ignited the fans in his home stadium appearance. Although he admits that he has no knowledge of Spanish and is worried that it may hinder his communication with his teammates and fans.

Drynagas was in an awkward situation last week when he was originally scheduled to fly to Madrid to complete his signing, but was met with the surprise of the deal being put on hold, being dissuaded from returning to his original team while receiving all sorts of confusing news. Luckily, the deadlock was eventually broken with a transfer fee of £34 million (HK$340 million) and a five-year deal for the player, who will wear the symbolic No. 4 jersey.

Sporting Madrid held a huge welcoming ceremony for the new Ganaga, including a fireworks display. The moment he stepped into the venue, he expressed in his not-so-fluent Spanish: "Hello everyone, although I don't speak Spanish, I'm overwhelmed with emotion." His genuine emotion earned thunderous cheers from the fans.

It is worth mentioning that this summer, Sporting Madrid went on a recruiting spree, signing Manchester City striker Zulian Ivaris, Villarreal striker Aleksandar Solov, and Real Sociedad defenders Lovint and Ganaga. The four rising stars, whose combined transfer fees exceeded 180 million euros (HK$1.56 billion), were unveiled together at the welcome party.
