Premier League giants Chelsea have favored Vivian as much as La Liga's Bilbao, with the two clubs launching a long-term recruitment drive for the 24-year-old Spanish international. Bilbao have officially announced that they have reached an agreement with Vivian, putting a huge deal on the table that extends until 2032, when Vivian will wear the national team's colors and continue to shine in Europe.

With a very different approach to training than the norm, Vivian joined Bilbao as a B team player in 2017. After three seasons in Liga B, he was promoted to the first team in 2021, and over the next three seasons of the Liga campaign, Vivian made 102 appearances, contributing three goals and helping the team win the Copa del Rey. This season, his stellar performances once again earned the team honors.

Vivian was first selected for the Spanish national team in March of this year and was recently named in the preliminary national team list. Growing up in Bilbao's youth system, he has a strong relationship with the team and is expected to have two years remaining on his contract. If he were to be scouted by another club at this time, Vivian would be at a disadvantage. Therefore, the club has decided to go ahead and extend his contract until around 2032, when Vivian will be 32 years old, meaning that he will be playing for Bilbao for his entire career.
