Cairo, 39, scored another hat-trick in the Saudi Arabian League, while his former Real Madrid teammate Shaji Olamos helped Xavier to a narrow 1-0 win over Kitafi in the La Liga on Saturday night (30), grabbing three valuable points. The day happened to be Shaji Olamos' 38th birthday and the win was certainly the perfect birthday present.

Sivir were under pressure of relegation as they were only three points ahead of Cadiz on the eve of the match, so they were determined to win. The deadlock was broken just five minutes into the match when Shaji Olamos found a good opportunity from a corner kick and fired in a close-range shot. The Spanish center back has returned to his parent club Sivir from Paris Saint-Germain this season, and has so far played 29 matches and scored 7 goals, proving that the "Swordsman" has not aged well.

After the match, Shaji Olamos shared a photo of the goal celebration on social media and wrote: "Celebrating my birthday with a win, a goal, zero goals conceded and winning the MVP is just perfect, thank you for all the well wishes." Shaji Olamos' contract is set to expire at the end of the season and given his current form, the possibility of an extension cannot be underestimated.

In another La Liga match, Barcelona beat Las Pemas 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Rafin Xabiloni, keeping the score close despite being five points behind table-toppers Real Madrid, who have played a game less.
