In the early hours of Sunday morning, Barcelona beat Cheddar 2-1 in a thrilling away match in La Liga thanks to Roberto Lewandowski's penalty shootout in the seventh minute of extra time. The 35-year-old Polish star scored twice in the match and was a key player in his team's victory. In the history of Barcelona in the 21st century, Lewandowski scored 50 goals in 79 matches, which is the third most efficient, only behind Iguana and Suarez, and faster than two legendary players - Messi and C Luo.

However, Barcelona's performance in the last round of the league was not recognized as they only drew 3-3 with relegation team CF Granada. In the match against Cherda, who is also in the lower part of the league, Barcelona's performance was only moderate. It wasn't until the 45th minute of the first half that Lewandowski broke the deadlock with a goal. However, just two minutes later, Cherda's striker Iago Espas equalized.

The game went into a stalemate that didn't culminate again until extra time. Barcelona's newest star, Yemma, was awarded a penalty for a scramble in the box, and Lewandowski took the penalty only to have goalkeeper Gujada pounce on it, but VAR ruled that Gujada had left the white line early and called for a repeat penalty. Lewandowski again stepped up to the penalty spot and scored a brace to help Barcelona to a 2-1 win, Barcelona's third in their last four league games.

Since joining Barcelona, Lewandowski has scored 50 goals in 79 games. Of the Barcelona players of the 21st century, only Iguaín and Suárez are more efficient than Lewandowski, scoring 50 goals in 68 games. Cairo and Messi, on the other hand, need 108 and 117 games respectively to score 50 goals.
