Barcelona's young prodigy Yemma was undoubtedly the center of attention in one of La Liga's marquee matches on Sunday. The 16-year-old striker scored twice in the match, including an assist and a shot that hit the post, creating an easy chance for Robert Ljundovsky to score and helping Barcelona to a 4-3 away victory over Villarreal. Yemma's performance was "kingly", and Barcelona once again welcomed their "new Messi".

At the end of last year's season, Yemma made his debut for Barcelona's first team, setting a record as the youngest player to play in the team's history at the age of 15 years, 9 months and 16 days. The Spanish U19 international has been favored by coach Xavi this season and has already made three league appearances, with the last two games being steady starts.

Just 12 minutes into the game, Yemma sent in a pinpoint cross that was headed in by teammate Gavi, followed by Frankie Dijon's shot just three minutes later to make it 2-0. However, Barcelona didn't make it an easy win, as Villarreal leveled the score at 2-2 at halftime, thanks to goals from Zuankov and Aleksandr Solov.

Five minutes after the break, Aleix Barna scored for Villarreal to make it 3-2, and Xavi made a key substitution, with Ferentolis coming on for just five minutes to make it 3-3. In the 71st minute, Yemma once again showed his skills, using a Mies-style breakaway and shooting from the right to the center of the field, which hit the goal post but Robert Livendovsky took the opportunity to add an empty net goal. The ball hit the post, but Robert Lewandowski seized the opportunity to make up for the empty net, and Barcelona finally realized the reversal.

Although Yemma did not score, he was exceptionally active, touching the ball 60 times in 77 minutes, passing with a 90% success rate, successfully crossing the opponent three times, creating four scoring chances, and breaking teammate Ansou Fadi's record of being the youngest player in La Liga to score an assist in the 21st century.
