This summer, Manchester United announced that they have put Harry Magouni and Anthony Martial on the shelf and their transfer fate will be revealed in the coming days. According to the British media, Westham Football Club has reopened transfer talks with Magouni in an attempt to resolve the compensation dilemma. Meanwhile, Madier has been internally recommended to Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti is weighing up the player's prospects at the club.

The Sun further revealed that behind Westham's reopening of the Magouni negotiations, the Hammer Gang intended to raise additional funds to meet Magouni's high demand for compensation.

Previously, United had agreed to transfer Magouni to Westham for £30 million (about HK$300 million) and planned to sign a four-year contract with him with a weekly salary of up to £120,000 (about HK$1.2 million), but this was £70,000 less than Magouni's weekly salary at United. United were only willing to pay £6 million in compensation, while Magouni insisted on £12 million, which became the trigger for the breakdown of negotiations.

Recently, Westham have once again opened talks with the intention of raising millions of pounds to fill the gap in Magouni's compensation. The key to all this is whether United and Magouni can come to an agreement.
