According to The Sun, Saudi Arabia's Ainas have been targeting Manchester City's defensive centerpiece Naboudi for some time now, but the Spaniard's transfer path seems to have encountered a strong enemy. Real Madrid are eyeing a move for the 29-year-old Spanish international to join the Galacticos to fill the void left by the previously injured Ada Miredao.

While City's backline has been strengthened by the introduction of Gavadore this summer, Naboldi is eager to seek a new challenge in order to get more playing time. Originally, he had a preliminary agreement with Ainas, but Real Madrid's involvement has changed the situation. After all, Naboudi has his heart set on Europe's top clubs, especially the Champions League, and would undoubtedly see Real Madrid as his first choice if given the chance.
