Liverpool (England)

It was officially announced that 18-year-old star midfielder Basti has extended his contract until 2027, with manager Gop praising his progress and believing that he has unlimited potential and is expected to be a central force in the team's future.

In 2020, Liverpool signed the young Spanish talent from La Liga's Cheddar for a £200,000 transfer fee. Basti, who has been honing his skills at Liverpool's U18 and U21 ladders since he was a youngster, was officially promoted to the first team this season. He made his professional debut earlier in the season in a 9-0 thrashing of Fennymouth.

Basti's masterpiece was the Premier League match against Aston Villa at the end of December last year, where he scored a goal to help his team win 3-1 away from home. To date, he has made 10 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal.

After the contract extension, Basti excitedly said, "very happy to continue to play for Liverpool, my family and I are incredibly proud of the contract extension, which has been my dream for the past two years, and I hope to be able to participate in more games." In the face of Liverpool's aging midfield, Basti is expected to seize the opportunity to leap into the team's new force.
